Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are planning a Friday evening victory event if the media calls the race for them by Friday evening.
Campaign staffers have said that Harris is expected to speak first with Biden to follow in what will be his first meaningful appearance since Election Day.
Biden hasn’t taken questions and offered little more than soundbites this week as contentious races in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin have either announced recounts or are expected to.
The appearance is expected to begin around 8 p.m. EST.
