Movie Producer Dillon Jordan Indicted For Using Production Company To Operate ‘Far-Reaching’ Prostitution Ring

A California movie producer was charged Thursday for allegedly using his production company to conduct an international prostitution business, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York announced.

Dillon Jordan, 49, of Arrowhead Lake, California, was arrested in his home state and has been released on $150,000 bail, the Associated Press reported. Jordan allegedly operated the prostitution business in the U.S. and abroad from 2010 through 2017, authorities said.

He has helped produce films such as the 2018 film “The Kindergarten Teacher, and the 2019 movie “The Kid,” according to the AP.

“For years, Dillon Jordan operated an extensive and far-reaching prostitution business through two front companies – a purported party and event planning company and an actual movie production company to conceal the proceeds he made from exploiting women.” U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a release.

“Now the party is over and the film is a wrap,” Strauss added.

Authorities allege that he kept a roster of women who lived in the U.S., who preformed sexual acts for his clients in exchange for money, according to the press release.

Jordan was accused of communicating with his clients through email and sending them photos of women who were available for hire, the press release said. He was also accused of organizing the price of the services as well as the travel logistics for the prostitutes, and using a U.K. based “madam” to run his overseas business and share and refer customers to prostitutes.

He allegedly disguised the payments to prostitutes as fees for modeling, appearance, consulting, massages and parties, the AP reported.

“This defendant apparently thought he could hide his alleged criminal dealings behind a supposedly legitimate business. But the FBI, in its mission to protect our citizens, uses every tool at its disposal to unmask those who violate federal law and assist the impacted victims,” FBI Special Agent George M. Crouch said in a statement.

Jordan was ordered not to talk with any alleged victims or likely witnesses in the case as part of the terms of his bail, the AP reported.

Jordan has to hand over his firearms and has to refrain from using drugs, according to the AP. His home is also subject to random searches.
