ICE Will Stop Deporting Illegal Aliens for Entering the Country Illegally

In a new memo sent to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said that agents will narrow their focus on the deportation of illegals. The memo allows agents to make case-by-case decisions, not based on the law, but rather only focusing on only those who pose threats to safety in the US.

According to Reuters, those who have been in the US for some length of time or may be “adversely affected” by deportation will be allowed to remain. Even though there are clear guidelines and laws on what is and is not acceptable for entry into the United States.

President Joe Biden promised a new approach once he entered into office. He was not a fan of the hardline stance of former President Donald Trump. He sought to relax enforcement and allow illegals to remain in the country.

But he took that even further. Since taking office, he has allowed a flood of illegals to cross the southern border without any risk of deportation. The illegals have been given court dates and allowed to enter the United States unmonitored in many instances, to never return for their court dates.

The Biden regime also transported the illegals across the country, allowing them to enter into states that are not along the southern border as well.

Democrats continue to seek immigration reform as part of the spending bill they are negotiating in Congress. While much of the publicity has been focused on the spending, the plans also make a path for illegals to remain in the country and be given citizenship in many instances.
