[WATCH] Putin Addressing Russians Sounds Just Like Democrats In America

As part of a concerted internal propaganda campaign, President Vladimir Putin appeared in a televised address to fellow Russians yesterday, and pulled no punches in going after those with whom he disagrees. In doing so, Putin was clearly attempting to lift the morale of his beleaguered citizenry and battered troops who are growing weary of the ongoing Ukraine war and mounting losses. But he was also sending a clear message to dissenters.

During multiple portions of Putin’s lecture, he hit on points that could have come straight out of the playbook of the Democratic National Committee. Here’s the video below, and while reading the subtitles, it’s not difficult to imagine Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) repeating the same words in that Brooklyn accent of his, or to picture President Joe Biden regurgitating similar sentiments in his typically incoherent and nonsensical fashion.

Towards the beginning of Putin’s rant, he relies on the all-too-familiar approach of identity politics and makes an assertion that would make Nancy Pelosi proud. While Democrats may not use the word “caste” very often, substitute the word “class,’ or better yet the word “income,” and Putin and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes (D-NY) become indistinguishable.

“It is a sign of belonging to the superior caste, the superior race. People like this would sell their own mothers just to be allowed to sit on the entry bench of their superior caste.” [0:33 mark]

A few moments later, Putin employs a tactic that’s becoming increasingly popular with Democrats across the land: Demonize anyone who disagrees with you and label them as traitors. We need only to look back to Monday and a discussion amongst the morons on The View to see a stateside example of such rhetoric. It was during that show that Ana Navarro and Whoopi Goldberg were suggesting investigating and arresting Tucker Carlson and Tulsi Gabbard for having a different opinion on Biolabs in Ukraine. Can you see a difference between Goldberg and Putin?

“The Russian people will always be able to distinguish true patriots from scum and traitors and will simply spit them out as an insect.” [1:31 mark]

We can only wonder if Whoopi watched Putin’s statement and thought, “Damn… ‘spit them out as an insect’… I wish I’d thought of that one.”

Putin then followed up with a statement that should send shivers down the spines of Russians, and one which undoubtedly many Democrats have been knocking around in the backs of their minds.

“I am convinced natural and necessary self-detoxification of society like this would strengthen our country, our solidarity, and cohesion and our readiness to respond to any challenge.” [1:41 mark]

“Self-detoxification of society” Putin calls it. Sounds similar to “ethnic cleansing” doesn’t it? Will this be the next approach by our own leftists at home? Will they continue to parrot such talking points while mimicking dictators like Putin? It looks like that may very well be the direction in which they’re heading.
