Everything We Know About the 8/8 FBI Raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago House

On the morning of August 8, 2022, a large group of FBI agents entered former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence with a warrant while he was in New York. The agents stayed throughout the day.

Trump calls the raid “prosecutorial misconduct” in a statement shortly after the news broke. He also says that they even broke into his personal safe.

Why Now?

The raid is widely thought to be about White House documents the former president allegedly took or destroyed. Those allegations were made soon after he left the White House so the timing seems more related to the coming November election than any supposed criminal action in January of 2021. Especially since the Washington Post’s Maggie Haberman is about to publish an article featuring unsubstantiated photos of torn paper in a toilet allegedly evidence of documents Trump attempted to destroy.

Democrats Have a Pattern of Targetting Opponents

The raid continues a pattern of government institutions and agencies appearing as though they are interested in prosecuting the enemies of Democrats while protecting allies. From Louis Lerner and her anti-conservative enforcement of tax regulations to James Comey et al and their now disproven Russia-collusion efforts, the evidence of a two-tiered government and justice system have become more evident.

Not Everyone is Laying Down

After responding to news of the raid in the above-mentioned statement, Trump then departed Trump tower in New York City en route to Florida.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy informed Biden’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, to preserve all records and to clear his calendar. It would appear that subpoenas are coming and the Justice Department is the focus.

Walks like a duck and sounds like a duck…

Now comes the subjective analysis of what’s happening. The timing is suspect, the actions are suspect, and the government agency involved is suspect.

November is largely expected to be a bloodbath for Democrats. They, if public opinion holds, will lose the House and likely the Senate. The only way to stop that is to deify their opponents (check: Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals). If they can turn Trump into an evil criminal and tie every one of their political opponents to him, they believe – maybe rightly so – that they can win by disenfranchising moderate Republicans.

First, they would love nothing more than to goad Trump into announcing his intent to run for president before the 2022 mid-term elections – especially if they have already managed to paint him as a likely criminal. Soccer moms don’t like criminals. Ergo: moderate Republicans will stay home rather than contribute to the delinquent image Democrats are painting for them. Sheep… are sheep.

Second, how distracted are you seeing the news tonight? Magnify that by a billion for the average family catching it on NBC Nightly News, CNN, or their local outlet. Yeah…
