House Republicans such as Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Chip Roy, and Matt Rosendale, refused to cast their votes for McCarthy. However, the spotlight was on Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Marjorie Taylor Greene was blasted by My Pillow CEO, Mike Lindell, for not sticking to her word. As reported by BPR, Mike Lindell stated, “You know, I just think that she, I mean, it’s her choice. But obviously, she was promised something, and I don’t know if that promise helps the people, you know what I mean”.
