Twisting the Facts Doesn’t Solve the Problem

The Biden Administration is using the power of the mainstream media to hoodwink the unknowing public. Some people get their news only from MSM, just as some who only watch or listen to FOX. The MSM crowd is getting precisely what the President and staff want them to hear. This is extremely dangerous when an administration is challenged to speak the truth. Whether it is the specifics about the recent balloons blown out of the air by our Air Force jets or the parameters we look at today. Let’s dig into the numbers.

Gas Prices. Biden inherited a healthy and thriving energy situation in 2021. We were no longer buying petroleum products from some of our most radical countries. For the first time in our history, we were a net exporter of energy products. That status was short-lived, for on day one of Joe Biden’s term, he declared war on petroleum. He killed the keystone pipeline and reversed any pro-petroleum action put in place by Donald Trump. Gas and home heating products skyrocketed in cost, and we returned to the days of dealing with OPEC, negotiating with rogue countries like Iran and Venezuela, and putting Europe into the horrific situation of buying liquid natural gas from Russia when they could no longer buy it from America.

In 2020, gas was $2.26 a gallon and quickly shot to $5.00 in less than one year under Biden’s policies. Now that they have fallen to $3.30, Biden claims he is saving Americans hundreds of dollars yearly. No, Joe, you are still costing us hundreds more than the value cost under Trump. Surprise, Biden caught in a lie.

Inflation. This parameter is similar to petroleum. Biden claims he is saving Americans money because inflation is down to 6% when it was as high as 9%. He claims he inherited an economy in shambles which is, hold it, another lie. He claims he has created 13,000,000 jobs. In 2021, we were recovering from the malaise of the COVID Pandemic, people were returning to work, and inflation was at a paltry 2.4% and the thirteen million Americans who lost their jobs during COVID were back to work. You will not hear this side of the story on CNN or MSNBC. 

The Consumer Price Index for January was announced today and rose .5% to 6.4%. This report puts a hole in Biden’s claim that the economy is healthy and heading in the right direction. We may still be heading toward a recession. Surprise, Biden caught in a lie.

The Border is Secure. Last month, Biden announced a new plan to control illegal immigration by limiting illegals seeking asylum from certain Latin American countries. Since the number of people from these countries has dropped significantly, Biden is touting the success of his new plan. Joe, the number of illegal crossings at our Southern Border continues to set new monthly records. And now the Northern Border is hemorrhaging because any available agents have been sent to the Southern Border, not to guard it but to process illegals into the country.

The problems continue to grow, and as Biden’s credibility races to zero, we are left in the dark. Thanks, Joe. You have redefined transparent.
