In Remembrance of D-Day: Blame Innocent Victims of War On Christianity – NOT!

‘Never Again’ has become a vacuous slogan, just like ‘No One is Above the Law.’ Pope Francis seems to be a lone voice crying out in the desert speaking out again armed conflicts:

The Allied invasion of Nazi-occupied France was unprecedented in scale and audacity, using the largest-ever armada of ships, troops, planes and vehicles to change the course of World War II.

Some 75 million people died in World War II, including about 20 million military personnel and 40 million civilians, many of whom died because of deliberate genocide, massacres, mass-bombings, disease, and starvation. Yet, ‘Never Again’ has become a vacuous slogan, just like ‘No One is Above the Law.’ Pope Francis seems to be a lone voice crying out in the desert speaking out again armed conflicts: “The innocent victims of wars in Ukraine, Palestine and Israel, Sudan, Myanmar and elsewhere challenge ‘the conscience of all,'” Pope Francis wrote: “We cannot and must not give in to the logic of weapons!” he added.

During last year’s Christmas holidays, at least 140 Nigerian Christians were killed.  Attacks on 26 villages in Plateau State began December 23, led by suspected extremists among Fulani Muslim herdsman against Christian farming communities. Some media reports cite nearly 200 dead, with many missing as local residents fled from gunmen into the bush. They attacked 20 Christian communities in Central Nigeria, raiding and burning homes while civilians were asleep. 300 were injured and 221 homes  destroyed. In the past two decades, 62,000 Christians in Nigeria have been killed by Jihadists and another five million have been displaced.

In late September Muslims seized the Armenian enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh forcing some 120,000 ethnic Armenians to flee en masse in one of the starkest examples of forced displacement in the twenty-first century.

Casualties in the Russian Invasion of Ukraine include 14,200–14,400 military and civilian deaths during the War in Donbas, and up to 500,000 estimated casualties during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Conflicting reports from Russian and Ukrainian sources indicate high military and civilian casualties, with significant discrepancies in reported numbers. Efforts to identify and repatriate the deceased, alongside the treatment of prisoners of war, highlight the human cost of the ongoing conflict.

The October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel killed 1,139 people, including 764 civilians and 373 Israeli security personnel with 251  taken hostage during the initial attack on Israel to the Gaza Strip. A further 479 Palestinians, have been killed in the West Bank.  As of 21 May 2024, over 37,000 people have been killed.

Khartoum, the capital of Sudan and one of the largest cities in Africa, has been reduced to a charred battleground, as two generals fighting for power turned the city into ground zero for one of the world’s worst humanitarian catastrophes, as reported by the New York Times.

Children have been recruited for participation in military operations and campaigns throughout history and in many cultures. Children are particulatly targeted for their susceptibility to influence, rendering  them easier to recruit and control. Today, corrupt leaders and otherwise, continue that practice. Reminder of  Hypocrisy of Progressives’ concern for human life.

What is the source of all this evil? Is it hate mongers, greedy groups and corrupt organizations  hiding behind frivolous religious and political ideologies to divide people, societies and nations as Aasi Tahir Siddique argues:?  In a widely circulated post on X (over 32 million views,) Aasi Tahir Siddique argues that “In the absence of liIberty, Hate mongers, greedy groups and corrupt organizations are hiding behind frivolous religious and political ideologies to divide people, societies and nations.”

Yet, in a complex world, in the presence of peace, in the presence of tolerance, in the presence of acceptance, in the presence of empathy, in the presence of liberty, hate mongers, greedy groups and corrupt organizations still manufacture arguments to divide people, societies and nations.

Is the source of this evil systemic racismSystemic humanism,  or is it Christianity and president Donald Trump as The Atlantic and the Atlantic’s Peter Wehner might argue:?

“A small group of people, inside and outside this church, coordinated a divisive effort to use disinformation in order to take control of this church.”

Alexander Solzhenitsyn was spot on when, in his great Templeton Address of 1983, one of the greatest and most prophetic speeches in the history of Western civilization, when he diagnosed the ultimate cause of all the ills and decadences and self-destructivenesses of our culture of death in one simple sentence: “Men have forgotten God.

Solzhenitsyn was taking to heart the warning contained on Deuteronomy 2500 years earlier: “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone! Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with your whole heart, and with your whole being, and with your whole strength. Take to heart these words which I command you today. Keep repeating them to your children. Recite them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them on your arm as a sign and let them be as a pendant on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates.

The root of all hatred toward the Jewish people is jealousy for  being the chosen people.  Just like system racism is less about racism and more like systemic humanism. It’s the Transitive Property of Hatred:

Yet, Timothy diagnosed the source of evil 2000 years ago: “For the love of money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it have strayed from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains.” 1 Tim 6:10
