He’s A Different Man, At Peace With His Mission

I watched Donald J Trump walk onto the stage of the FOX Nations Patriot Awards to accept The Patriot Of The Year Award, and there was a different look to the man. Trump is an iconic individual unsatisfied with his mission to Make America Great Again. Trump doesn’t need this challenge. He has a great life and family and could simply enjoy his riches in the finest places in the world, but he wants every American to reach high and realize their dreams.

I started to see the new, calmer, happier Trump in the weeks after the attempted assassination of him in Butler, Pennsylvania. Few can debate that Divine Intervention aided his survival, and Trump has been more serene and spiritual since he rose from the stage, bloodied and pumping his fist. According to the polls, Trump was neck and neck with Harris down the stretch of the race. Harris was working daily to reinvent herself and campaign, while Trump was working tirelessly, doing two or three appearances a day. The difference was noticeable. Kamala Harris was angry, and her message was confrontational. She wasn’t asking people for their vote. She challenged groups to vote for her because tradition showed they always aligned with the Democrats. Obama chastised Black Men on her behalf, telling them Harris didn’t earn their votes but deserved it. If the minority groups followed tradition, Harris was a shoo-in. They did not, and Kamala Harris lost handily.

Trump, on the other hand, was having fun. Whether making fries or working the take-out window at McDonalds, Harris is trolling Harris’ unsubstantiated claim that she worked at McDonalds during her college years. Wearing an orange work vest and hopping into a garbage truck in response to Biden calling Trump and his supporters garbage. Trump didn’t get into a verbal debate but used fun photo-ops to drive his message home. Harris’s message was full of dread, while Trump was painting a brighter future under his watch. His rallies were a happening while Harris had to pay people like Al Sharpton and Oprah Winfrey. Harris blew through a record $1.5 billion and still ended her campaign with a $20 million deficit and a record-setting loss. Trump spent half as much and, for the second time in 8 years, beat a female Democrat with half the resources.

After her resounding loss, Harris went on a three-week vacation to Hawaii. Trump took no time off to savor his victory and hit the ground running. He named over forty nominees for Cabinet and staff positions and showed with his picks that he was serious about shaking up Washington. Many of these people are new to politics, but all are Trump loyalists who are in sync with his agenda and ready to go above and beyond to get the job done.

Trump is still weeks away from the Oath, but we are already seeing results. Mexico has committed to stopping the caravan heading toward our border, and Canada has committed to additional security on our northern border. NYC Mayor Adams has changed his tune and said he would help ICE rid his city of bad seeds that entered during the mass migration. Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle are joining the caucus to support Musk and Ramaswamy in their effort to cut $2 trillion from government expenses. Most see Trump as a force who is easier to work with than get in front of. January 20 will be a great day marking the beginning of the reconstruction of America.
