We Don’t Vote for Politicians to Represent Foreigners Over Citizens

One of the things you can say with confidence is that President Donald Trump has made good on his promises made during his campaign. His slogan, “Promises made, promises kept,” was not an empty line, but a commitment to his supporters. We have seen in the first seven months that Trump 47 is a man of his word. This cannot be said for most politicians at any level of government.

One of the things that makes me shake my head in disbelief is why Americans are so passive in reaction to mayors and governors of Blue cities and states bending over backwards to protect the “rights” of illegals over the safety of their constituents. They do not hide from it, but instead wear it as a badge of honor. They hold press conferences to openly defy the federal government and proclaim that their city or state is a safe haven for illegals, regardless of their record and threat to the community. They know their actions are a violation of the law, but it is more important to earn points with the far Left.

We have the mayor of Chicago, who says it is an act of tyranny for Trump to send the Guard to his city to clean up the mess that used to be a great city. Mayor Johnson is happy with record murders every year instead of making the Windy City safe for its residents. Maybe that is why his approval rating is 29%.

Over 2 million people have signed a petition in defense of the man driving a tractor-trailer in Florida, who pulled a U-turn on a divided highway, killing three innocent people. Who are these delusional people, and how many of them offered a prayer for the three dead Floridians?

Mayor Wu of Boston has held numerous press briefings telling President Trump that she does not want his help and has said her police will not cooperate with ICE. Crime over safety: Every one of these officials who are so cavalier with the safety of their constituents should be stripped of their protective details.

In Maryland, the saga of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, known as the “Maryland dad,” drones on. He was recently released from federal criminal custody in Tennessee, but faces another attempt by the U.S. government to deport him. The governor of Maryland has come to his defense, but President Trump has issued an ultimatum: turn yourself in and be deported to Costa Rica, or defy the order and enjoy your trip to Uganda.

There is no reasonable explanation for why these Blue politicians are protecting illegals and criminals other than a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. They will do anything to be anti-Trump. It defies logic, but these people continue to be reelected, which shows the ignorance of the electorate. Trump will push this issue because it is the right thing to do. The first stop was D.C., the next stop is Chicago. There will be resistance, but Trump will prevail, even if the courts need to intervene.
