The fraud crisis in Minnesota is getting worse, and the plot thickens by the day. The latest evaluation puts the potential lost dollars at $9 billion. That is not just Minnesota funds lost in the wind, as some of these programs targeted were federal, like Medicaid, and therefore, it was all our money; we all have a vested interest in the ineptitude of Tim Walz and Keith Ellison, who should both resign their positions and wait for the legal chips to fall on their future.
Tim Walz is on the news daily and downplays the magnitude of the money lost. Only a fool would say that or believe it. He does not want help from the federal government and claims the feds are weaponized against his state. The fraud committed by the Somalis in Minnesota started in 2018, the same year that Tim Walz took office, yet somehow, Walz can find a way to blame Trump for the situation. Today, he made the irrational statement, “this happened on my watch, and I will fix the problem.” Yes, it did, but no, you won’t and can’t. You are not capable of solving the fraud or clawing back the $9 billion. It is gone. It was taken by the people whom you fear because they threatened to call you a racist if you stopped their cash flow, or you would never win an election again. Walz either believes his own rhetoric or is a fool. Either is bad for the people of Minnesota.
Speaking of the people of Minnesota, where are they and their outrage? The calls for the resignations of Walz, Ellison, and even Omar should be loud and constant. There is no way any of these three should survive this theft of residents’ money. The dust still needs to settle on this Somali scandal, as other states like Ohio and Maine are just beginning to survey the damage. Still, one thing is perfectly clear: the politicians may not have been directly involved in the committing of the fraud, but by ignoring it and allowing the cash to disappear as quickly as possible, their hands are just as dirty, and you can guarantee that a sizeable amount of the stolen money was donated back to these power-hungry politicians.
The spotlight is now on Minnesota, but it will return to California and Illinois in due time. The three states have in common that they are Blue states with spiraling negative numbers. They all have high taxes, slipping school systems, and corrupt governments. They all share negative migration. Businesses are leaving, and those who stay will need to pay for those who left for greener pastures. They are dying states, with high-profile chief executives who all have aspirations of their next office being at the White House. How can you take a resume of failure as bad as the governor of Minnesota, California, or Illinois and convince yourself you are the right person to lead this country? This is the mindset of Democrats and why their Party has no leader or solutions. The Party and its followers all suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, and the people who complain about Trump the loudest and most frequently rise to the top of the Democrat hierarchy. It would be a disaster for America if Newsom, Pritzker, or Walz were elected President, but it could happen. Nobody saw a Socialist runnning for Mayor of New York City, but he did and he won.
These people, and these states, need help. They will not disappear or cease to exist, but they will become less desirable over time, and so will their governors. Whether asked for or not, the Feds will need to get involved and straighten these states out. The men and women who ran them into the ground are beyond hope and will be left at the side of the road as footnotes in history.
