Belgian Anti-Terror Raid Leaves Two Dead
Just a week after Islamist extremists murdered several of the Hebdo staff in France, anti-terrorism forces have killed two men and injured a third in a raid in Eastern Belgium.
The raid took place in the town of Verviers which is about 120km from Brussels.
The guns used in the Hebdo massacre were believed to have been purchased at a train station in Brussels.
A source in Vervier’s mayor’s office told an AFP reporter that the raid was “Jihadist-related.”
