The White House is holding an Economic Summit Thursday just as President Donald Trump considers signing a massive spending package passed by Congress.
Vice President Mike Pence was scheduled to attend the summit, but excused himself Thursday to pay attention to the Kavanaugh/Ford hearing.
The summit is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. ET.
