From Disney Live Action, director Jon Favreau’s all-new “The Lion King” journeys to the African savanna where a future king must overcome betrayal and tragedy to assume his rightful place on Pride Rock.

Starring Donald Glover as Simba (adult), Beyonce as Nala (adult), James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, John Oliver as Zazu, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Kani as Rafiki, Seth Rogan as Pumbaa the warthog and Billy Eichner as Timon the meerkat.

Child actors J.D. McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph will voice the young versions of Simba and Nala. Shahadi has played the character on Broadway’s adaptation of the movie.

Jon Favreau directed the live-action version of the box office smashing original.
