Speaker Johnson has turned out to be weaker than expected, unwilling to fight for the values the conservative base elected him to promote. Many say he has become the lapdog of Rep. Jeffries and the Democrats and, out of weakness or naivete, has yielded to the Deep State, such as the warrantless FISA bill.
