If Kamala Harris Is About Freedom, Then We Need to Redefine The Concept

Kamala Harris has hit the ground running, which is probably a good idea for her before people catch on to what happened over the weekend. There was little concern for democracy in the Democrat Party as its leaders banded together to throw the President over the political cliff and replace him with Kamala Harris. Harris has assumed the role of candidate without winning a single primary or capturing a single vote. She also has taken control of the war chest people donated to Joe Biden’s run for reelection, not for a last-minute stand-in.

She has already made numerous campaign stops, far more than her trips to the border, and one of her speeches to a convention of Black sorority sisters was in lieu of attending a speech by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to a joint session of Congress. Harris has already moved on from her vice President responsibilities.

In her first campaign video, the central theme was Freedom. An interesting tact as the Democrat party wants to control every aspect of our lives from conception to grave. Let’s dig deeper. Freedom is a big umbrella. What may concern me and what I want with my life choices is probably quite different from yours. In the video, Harris refines Freedom to access reproductive care. In the mind of Vice President Kamala Harris, the right to have an abortion and kill an unborn fetus is why you should back her for President. I don’t see that as Freedom for the unborn.

When you look at other beliefs of the Vice President, they are all about controlling lives. Here are a few:

• Democrats want to:
  • Ban internal combustion automobiles
  • Ban gas or propane stoves
  • Ban gas water heaters and air conditioners
  • Ban fracking and purchase oil from OPEC, Iran, and Venezuela
  • Eliminate parental access to gender-changing decisions by their children
  • Eliminate parental involvement in a child’s right to an abortion
  • Limit the profitability of private and publicly held corporations
  • Eliminate capital punishment
  • Eliminate privately owned prisons
  • Eliminate controlled borders
  • Allow non-citizens the right to vote
  • Increase taxes on all working people

I cannot see how that is Freedom for anyone except the government that wants to make decisions for you. Harris is only a few days into her stolen candidacy, and the lies and collusion with the media are beyond belief. Her campaign staff distributed talking points to members of Congress and the legacy media yesterday, and the symphony of lies began. Her denial that she was ever named the Border Czar was at the top of the list. The media jumped all over it and looked more foolish with each report. FOX News was showing the original tape of each outlet announcing Harris as the Border Czar, but they were now denying it. These people think we are stupid, brain dead, or have our memories erased.

Harris has to reinvent herself and divorce herself from the failures of this administration. Biden will be nowhere near her as she campaigns. In a week or two, she may even deny she was VP. This woman is so hated and such a lousy campaigner, as evidenced by her performance in 2020, that it will be fun watching her implode. We must get past this momentary love fest between Kamala and the media, and they will soon turn on her, too.
