Freedom, Joy, Give-Aways, And Free Abortions

I want to write a story about the presidential election with a positive twist, but the Democrats refuse to let me. They choose to do anything that boggles the mind and makes you question the humanity of the folks on the Left. A few months ago, the most challenging policy to square was the continuous effort by Joe Biden to erase student loans. He knew this topic excited the young people of America and frustrated the five conservative justices in the Supreme Court with his blatant disregard for the Constitution. The free giveaways Kamala Harris outlined in the convention’s warmup shook us in the middle class with anger. To buy the votes of the young, she is paying their school tuition, rebating first-time home buyers up to $25,000, and expanding the Child Tax Credit. She is also planning on injecting government control of pricing into the economy.

I could only watch small snippets of Day 1 of the convention. It is not conducive to positive mental health. For such a righteous bunch of individuals, I could not believe the number of outright lies emanating from speakers on the stage. There was so much gaslighting that maintenance folks were called in for emergency No Smoking signs. All night long, we were told how Kamala Harris was the perfect person to fix the economy, lower inflation, and seal the border. Not once did anyone admit to Kamala being the cause of these situations. If she had the answers to the problems, why did she not implement any of them in her 1,300 days as Vice President?

But the most loathsome, gruesome, and repugnant element of the convention was the Planned Parenthood Medical Van parked in close proximity to the United Center offering free abortions and vasectomies. I wish I had used a more vile adjective, as none can be strong enough to convey my disgust at this decision.

Do vasectomies and abortions fall under the umbrella of Freedom or Joy? This party claims to be the champion of the middle class and American families, yet someone in their leadership thought it was a good idea to offer the service of killing your unborn fetus or eliminating any possibility of you fathering a child in the future. May the person who had this idea rot in hell.

Maybe I am being too harsh on the abortions, and they are limiting them to women who were rape or incest victims. Those are the victims that the Democrats say abortion must be legal and available in all fifty states.

Let’s look at the real abortion statistics:

• The number of abortions in the United States rose in 2023
• 1.2 Million abortions performed nationally
• California led all states with 180,000
• only 1.5% of abortions (18,000) were rape or incest victims
• 1/3 of all abortions are because of financial inability to raise a child
• 63% of abortions are medically induced

These are the numbers behind the number one issue for Democrats and the one most Democrats consider for their vote.
