Kamala Harris Must Not be Commander in Chief
North Korea’s Defence Ministry said the U.S.-South Korea guidelines betrayed “their sinister intention to prepare for a nuclear war against” North Korea. … [It] said [that this] urgently requires North Korea to improve its nuclear deterrent readiness and add unspecified “important elements to the composition of the deterrent.” It [said] the U.S. and South Korea will “pay an unimaginably harsh price” if they fail to stop provocative acts.
Statement by North Korea’s Defense Ministry carried by state media to South Korea and the United States, AP News, July 14, 2024
Who doesn’t love a yellow school bus, right? Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus? Many of us went to school on the yellow school bus, right? It’s part of our experience growing up. It’s part of nostalgia, a memory of the excitement and joy of going to school to be with your favourite teacher [and] best friends. The school bus takes us there.

[Our new nuclear doctrine would] set the conditions for Russia to transition to using nuclear weapons. Aggression against Russia by any non-nuclear state, but with the participation or support of a nuclear state, would be considered as their joint attack on the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Putin’s comment on Kyiv’s request for the West to provide weapons to attack inside Russia, Sept. 26, 2024
I love Venn Diagrams (giggling) I really do. I love Venn diagrams. It’s just something about those three circles, the analysis about where there’s the intersection, right?… I see people… you agree with me, right?
Kamala Harris, Nov. 5, 2022
[T]he Taiwan question … must be resolved by the Chinese [alone]. … [W]e will never renounce the use of force and reserve the option of taking all measures necessary. This is directed solely at interference by outside forces and the few separatists seeking ‘Taiwan independence’ … Complete reunification of [China] … can, without doubt, be realized!
Chinese President Xi, Oct. 16, 2022
It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day. Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down.
Kamala Harris, Jan. 13, 2022
The chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri … warned Washington that backing Israeli retaliation would lead to the targeting of US bases.

As you know, on this issue, we applaud Germany in terms of what it has done as it relates to Nord Stream 2. As it relates to what we need to do domestically as well as what we need to do in terms of this issue generally, we have, as the president said, to reevaluate what we’re doing in terms of strategic oil reserves here in the United States to make sure that it will not have an impact, or we can mitigate the impact on the American consumer.
Kamala Harris’ response to TODAY host Savannah Guthrie’s question what sanctions Biden-Harris might consider in response to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, Dec. 31, 2022
Here is something to amuse us. Listen to the Vice President of the United States, she of the awkward laugh and bumbling diplomacy, …

Back in the old days, it was taken for granted that one absolute requirements for a candidate for president of the US is that they inspire the confidence that they can deal seriously with the national security of the country. That is, there was a time when everyone understood and agreed that the election of the president of the United States is not a popularity contest, not a beauty contest, not the election of a prom queen.
Since the global environment is populated with ruthless despotic regimes driven by extremist ideologies (Marxism, Communism, Islamism, etc.), armed with nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, the US president must be able to formulate clear policies on these issues, not word salads nobody understands. Nothing less than the security of the entire world, both east and west, and the lives of billions of people, is at issue.
Although I disagreed mightily with the policies of Jimmy Carter, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Barak Obama, all were intelligent and articulate people. Jimmy Carter was a reasonably successful governor of Georgia. With a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Tech, he later worked under Admiral Rickover on a serious nuclear reactor accident at Chalk River, Ontario, in 1962. Similarly, I had many objections to Bill and Hillary Clinton’s politics, but Bill, a Rhodes Scholar with a Yale J.D., was undoubtably highly intelligent. I recall Dick Morris telling how an aide put the wrong speech in a teleprompter and Bill simply gave the intended speech correctly, virtually word for word, continuing seamlessly when the correct speech was put in the teleprompter halfway through. Similarly, Hillary, clearly highly articulate, has a Yale J.D. I have heard that both Bill and Hillary and I.Q.’s in the 140 range and, as a university professor for over 40 years who has become pretty good at estimating I.Q.’s, that seems believable. Though I often disagreed with Obama’s foreign policy, he did not seem reckless. Although the Left has a tendency, virtue-signalling about race, vastly to exaggerate Barak Obama’s intelligence, calling him a genius, he has no problem formulating a coherent grammatical sentence. There was never any thought that he would embarrass the country on the international stage and might charm foreign leaders to go along with him.
The point is that as problematic as these past Democrats were for conservatives, Harris is an entirely new level of problem. It is nice that Harris understands the tautology that the school bus takes one to school and that she, with 7th graders, loves Venn diagrams, but Putin, Xi, the Iranian Mullahs and the “Supreme Leader” of North Korea will be licking their chops at the prospect of such an embarrassing weakling in the White House.
If Harris were elected president, she would no more be running the country than Biden was in his last years. But that would mean that the country would be governed by unelected bureaucrats (Who knows who, and how many, that might be?). That separation from the accountability of the electorate itself is highly dangerous.
Second, given her privileged upbringing as the daughter of two professors in the University of California system, Harris might, despite her obvious ignorance of economics and international relations, and her inability to answer a question or formulate a coherent sentence, come to suffer from the celebrity disease that she actually understands something and insist on imposing her sophomoric leftist California will on the country … with disastrous consequences.
The Democrats, in their unrestrained determination to retain power, by installing someone so obviously unqualified as Harris as their candidate, are literally putting the security of the United States at risk. A Kamala presidency might well lose ground to America’s enemies on the international stage that would be impossible to repair.
Since Joe Biden and Bill Clinton seem to be going out of their way to sabotage Kamala’s campaign, one has to wonder, though they cannot admit this publicly, if they know that she must not win.
