Democrat’s and “News” Media’s “most infamous and successful political hit job in history” still ongoing
This month, the public has witnessed the mainstream media at its very worst, circling the wagons to deflect or dismiss the new evidence on how government officials, including Barack Obama, laid the foundations for [their] Russian collusion hoax. The most telling admission may have come from Chuck Todd on the mentality of many in the media. In denouncing the decision to interview Hunter Biden, Todd lamented how the coverage was bad for the Democrats and the Bidens. He then declared, “I make choices,” which is precisely why he was widely criticized for bias as a former Meet the Press. His “choices” often seemed to favour one party. I have long criticized Todd for his slanted questioning, open bias, and misleading coverage (here, here, here, here, here, and here). He used his position to denounce investigations into the Bidens while giving false accounts of conservative court rulings. Now, he is irate over the Hunter Biden interviews …. [H]e is not lashing out at the content but the fact that the media interviewed [someone] who proved so damaging for the Democrats and President Biden.

The liberal media is in full meltdown mode over the latest bombshells exposing [their] Russian collusion hoax. The fallout reaches straight into Obama’s inner circle, possibly even [Obama] himself. Watching the panic has been something to behold. But for pure unintentional comedy, nothing beats the reaction by resident left-wing mouthpiece Jessica Tarlov at Fox News who completely lost it when Jesse Watters dared to cite the mountain of evidence blowing apart one of the Democrats’ most sacred myths: that Vladimir Putin was obsessed with electing Trump in 2016. In reality, Moscow didn’t care who won and never made Trump their chosen candidate. Yet for nearly a decade, the American people were pummeled with the opposite lie, courtesy of Obama-era spooks and their media enablers. … The same tired script from the Democratic hoax machine: facts optional, the narrative everything, and when the truth finally emerges, their only response is to scream louder.

We want arrests, prosecutions and, where facts warrant, convictions … [Our] republic depends upon … equal application of the laws to everyone: especially the famous, powerful, wealthy and well connected. DNI Tulsi Gabbard has released hundreds of pages of previously classified documents about the “Russia collusion hoax” [that] prove allegations about then-candidate Trump colluding with Russia to win the 2016 election were false, that … the Obama administration knew they were false and that instructions to disseminate those accusations anyway came from … the Obama White House. None of this is a surprise to anyone paying attention. Former President Obama’s FBI presented information they knew was false to the FISA court, thereby illegally obtaining warrants to spy on Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The FBI lied to the FISA court and then to Congress. Former Secretary of State Clinton … paid for the infamous “dossier” of lurid lies about Trump that formed part of the basis for the surveillance warrants, not to mention the utterly baseless pervasive media campaign against Trump. Former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page … suggested the FBI investigation was an “insurance policy” to prevent Trump from being elected. … What happened to any of these bad actors? [Basically] nothing.

The liberal Poynter Institute is very upset at Trump for suggesting former president Obama is guilty of “treason” for organizing the campaign to paint him as a Russian tool. How must the media deal with this? Trump now has an incredible 210 “Pants On Fire” rankings from PolitiFact, and 854 “Mostly False” or worse. By contrast, one of his chief Russiagate opponents [who objectively lied about Trump and Russia], Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., has no “Pants On Fire” ratings [and] only three ratings, despite being in Congress since 2001: a “True,” a “Mostly True” and a single “False.” … [Use of] the T-word [exploded] after Trump met with Putin in Helsinki in 2018. NYT columnist Thomas Friedman [wrote] “there is overwhelming evidence that [Trump]… engaged in treasonous behaviour.” MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said, “Today felt like a fall even from the treasonous actions yesterday.” CNN analyst Max Boot [said] “I admit that [‘treason’ is] a very strong word but if you’re truly in the bag for our adversary, how do you describe that?” CNN host Fareed Zakaria [said] “`treasonous’ is too weak a word because the whole thing has taken on such an air of unreality.” … Isaacson, who poses as an objective interviewer on “Amanpour & Co.” on PBS, proclaimed on “Morning Joe” that “it’s astonishing how [Trump] has become such an effective and destructive virus created by Putin.” … Marshalling facts is not these people’s favourite activity. [Trump] must be utterly ruined, removed from office and preferably jailed. But don’t call that a “coup.”

The release of declassified material has shed new light on the creation of the Russian collusion investigation. … It is the story of the real Russian conspiracy: how high-ranking officials in the Obama Administration seeded this false claim with the help of an eager, unquestioning, press corps. … [T]he media (which spent years repeating the false Russian collusion claims) is [now] doing a full-court press to kill the story. Many of these key figures are retaining counsel in anticipation of the unfolding investigation. Many previously secured contracts with MSNBC or CNN, or book deals, where they doubled down on the false claims [are] detailed in these new documents. … [This] was the most infamous and successful political hit job in history. The same media that pushed the false claims are now, again, imposing a news blackout as they did with the Hunter Biden laptop. The problem [for them] is that the truth, like water, tends to find a way out. That trickle just turned into a flood for the architects of the Russian collusion hoax. [all emphasis added]

The Democrats, with the essential support of their shills in the “mainstream media,” are suddenly not interested in discussing their multi-year Trump-Russian collusion operation in which they used the “intelligence agencies” to cheat the American people out of free and fair elections. Their rules, as usual, are quite clear: We, the Left, can do anything we want, even use the intelligence agencies and corrupt District Attorney’s to fabricate hoaxes, smears and indictments out of whole cloth to ruin our political opponents (especially Trump because we’re so afraid of him). Republicans are not even allowed to investigate our corrupt schemes because it is supremely important that we, like 2-year-olds, have to get our way.
Unfortunately for the Left, it has become entirely clear that they have perpetrated a massive assault on our democratic processes and the American people. This is not merely being said by conservatives but by liberal constitutional scholars like Jonathan Turley. Their strategy is to claim that all these new revelations are only Trump’s effort to distract the American people from the alleged Trump-Epstein connection. As usual, the truth is precisely the opposite. The Democrats and their media poodles are using the new Trump-Epstein hoax to distract from their massive dishonesty and corruption over the past 10 years. No wonder they don’t want to talk about their now exposed Russian collusion hoax anymore.
