Transgenderism Is The Number One Threat To Gen Z, Not Guns

https://dailycaller.com/

How many times are we going to turn a blind eye to America’s youth being gunned down by a disease coddled by the Left? How many more children have to die before leaders stop lying about the real root of this crisis?

This week, horror struck again in America — children gunned down while kneeling in prayer at a church. Tragedy. Grief. And once again, a community shattered. But as the media scrambles to spin the narrative and politicians rush to score points, let’s stop pretending we don’t see the truth: transgenderism is a mental illness, and its affirmation killed kids while they were praying.

We don’t hand whiskey bottles to an alcoholic, so why are we handing puberty blockers and scalpels to confused teenagers?

Here’s the pattern: every time a tragedy like this happens, the Left immediately blames Republicans, guns, or conservatives in general. But the facts tell a different story. Time and time again, these shootings happen in Democrat-run cities, in Democrat-controlled states, carried out by individuals broken by Democrat gender ideology. It’s wild — but sadly predictable — that the Left tries to score cheap political points while refusing to admit their own responsibility in fueling the culture that breeds this chaos.

I’m part of Gen Z, and I’m saying this as directly as possible: transgender ideology is the single biggest threat to my generation. It destroys lives, destabilizes communities, and leaves chaos in its wake. This isn’t “acceptance.” It’s not “compassion.” It’s exploitation of young people who are already hurting — and when that mental illness spirals into violence, innocent kids pay the price.

We’re told by progressives that to be “kind,” we must affirm delusions, encourage hormone injections, cheer on irreversible surgeries, and hide all of it from parents. They say we need to accept “chosen identities” rather than protect truth. But what does that “kindness” produce? Broken lives. Rising suicide rates. Classrooms filled with confusion. And now, dead children at church.

The Left won’t admit it, but their ideology has blood on its hands.

I’ve seen it firsthand on campus. Professors and administrators push pronoun rituals and gender ideology harder than they push actual academics. Students are pressured to “transition” before they even understand who they are. And social media amplifies the lie, glamorizing transgenderism as if it’s liberation, when in reality it’s bondage.

It is no coincidence that the most vulnerable generation in American history is also the one most saturated with gender propaganda. Our schools are pipelines for indoctrination. Our institutions are complicit. And our politicians on the Left are too cowardly to admit the damage because their entire cultural agenda depends on propping up this delusion.

Enough.

If we want to stop the bloodshed, if we want to prevent more churches and schools from becoming crime scenes, then we have to stop coddling a mental illness and start confronting it. That means protecting children from gender procedures. It means restoring parental rights in education. It means taking mental health seriously instead of glorifying disorder. And it means leaders with the courage to tell the truth, no matter how loudly the activists scream.

One clear solution is for the United States to follow the lead of our allies overseas. The Cass Review, a government-commissioned report out of the United Kingdom led by pediatrician Dr. Hilary Cass, raised serious red flags about puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for children, noting the lack of reliable evidence that these interventions are safe or effective long term. In response, the U.K. and several European countries have paused these procedures for minors.

If Europe can pump the brakes, why can’t we? The Department of Health and Human Services could immediately implement a pause on these experimental interventions for American kids until stronger clinical data proves they are safe. Anything less is reckless and puts ideology over evidence.

The Left can keep pointing fingers at Republicans all they want. But it doesn’t change the reality: this tragedy, like others before it, was born out of a worldview they created, nurtured, and unleashed on my generation. And while they shout “gun control,” they ignore the real epidemic — the woke mind virus of transgender ideology.

This week, children were murdered in prayer because our society affirmed a lie. Tomorrow, unless we change course, it will happen again.

Gen Z doesn’t need more propaganda. We don’t need more slogans. We don’t need more fake “compassion.” We need truth. And the truth is this: transgenderism is a mental illness. And if America doesn’t find the courage to confront it, the next shooting is not a matter of if — it’s a matter of when.
