The No Kings Protest Spoke Volumes About the Left
The long-awaited and much-anticipated No Kings day of protest is behind us, and alas, it must have worked, for we had no king on Friday and still have none on Monday. I truly enjoyed the interviews with some of the protesters. They were so excited to have the attention of a microphone and camera, until they realized that they were making fools of themselves, and a mockery of the protest. They were all asked why they were protesting and what Trump had specifically done to bring them out to wave their handmade signs. The typical answer was that there were so many reasons, how much time do you have? Until they were pressed for specifics. Then they melted down and put an end to their humiliation. Granted, this was a small sampling, but if you expanded the sample size, you would have achieved the same result. These minions are enthralled with the concept of protesting because it gives them a sense of belonging and purpose with people of equal ignorance. Seriously, don’t these people have better things to do on a beautiful fall Saturday?
For those who picked up their signs and joined the scene, they were used, they were pawns, by the organizers. George Soros and his son love spending money to create a spectacle, and they are fortunate that they can get thousands to participate without a viable reason. For the mainstream media, this is a welcome celebration where they can defame and denigrate Donald Trump and blame the negativity on the protesters. Amazingly, they had to be dishonest in their reporting in an effort to amplify the actual results of the protesters. MSNBC went so far as to misrepresent the magnitude of the turnout. They showed an aerial picture that showed a massive crowd. Unfortunately, they were busted and had to admit the image was a stock photo of a gathering years ago. Why can’t they just play it straight, report the facts, and put a modicum of effort into being credible news reporters?
Donald Trump has been in Washington for four years and ten months. A very short reign compared to the geriatric wing of the Democratic Party, where 40-50 years in D.C. is more the norm. It is these lifetime politicians, like Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, and Warren, who have polluted the system and created their mini empires from which to reign. It was sad to see Democrat leaders like Schiff and Booker walking amongst the costumed protesters proclaiming that this is what democracy looks like. What exactly is that? A throng of costumed and masked geriatrics waving signs, dancing and singing, protesting their duly elected President, while they have no idea why they are protesting or what crimes, if any, Trump is guilty of violating.
Reports from across the country indicated many people did turn out. Still, the demographics showed a very high percentage of elderly protesters, which is not what the organizers hoped for. That, however, is a significant problem that the Democrats must face. They have lost the youth following to the Republicans, along with the minorities, men and some women. Their base is eroding because they lack a plan, and a message that translates to hope for a better America. They also have found themselves aligned with openly Socialist candidates like Mamdani. This swing to the Left has labeled the Party as Radical with no interest in returning to the Center. This decision may spell doom in the midterms and the 2028 Presidential election. All of this negativity is self-inflicted,
including their part in the current government shutdown, which is about to enter week 3. Schumer and Jeffries have placed themselves in a difficult position, and I would not be surprised to see two New Democrat leaders before the government is reopened.
Did the No Kings Day protest prove or gain anything for the Democrats? Not really. It proved that thousands of people can be easily led and gather to protest a government influenced by billionaires, with a protest funded by billionaires, and do it in costume while wearing masks.
