Lawyer Up, Losers: Brennan, Page, and Strzok Subpoenaed

Federal prosecutors have subpoenaed former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Brennan, former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page on Friday.
Justice Department officials in Miami and Washington, D.C., are preparing to issue multiple grand jury subpoenas in a federal investigation led by U.S. Attorney Jason Reding Quiñones into Brennan, Fox News reported Thursday. Fox News host Bret Baier announced on-air that a federal grand jury issued the subpoenas earlier in the day, citing law enforcement sources who said up to 30 more subpoenas could follow in the coming days.
“Fox News Digital is now reporting a federal grand jury has subpoenaed former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, as well as others. It is part of the Justice Department’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe. Sources say the trio were served with federal subpoenas today,” Baier said.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released documents and a memo on July 18 exposing what she described as a “years-long coup” against President Donald Trump following his 2016 victory over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The files revealed that Strzok played a central role in advancing the baseless claims of Trump-Russia collusion.
Strzok also intervened to stop the FBI from closing its investigation into retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who served as Trump’s first national security adviser. Gabbard said the documents show coordinated efforts within federal agencies to undermine Trump’s presidency from the start.
Page testified in Congress in 2018, saying that investigators had not found significant evidence of collusion between Trump’s 2016 campaign and the Russian government when Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel. During questioning about her text exchanges with then-FBI agent Strzok, Page said Strzok privately admitted to having doubts about the case.
Fox News first reported in July 2025 that Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey were under federal investigation, and Thursday’s developments highlight an escalation into that probe. While Comey faces trial in January, prosecutors are expected to present evidence against Brennan to a grand jury in South Florida, though he has not been indicted.
In October, Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan formally referred Brennan to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution, accusing him of knowingly making false statements during his 2023 congressional testimony. Jordan said Brennan lied about the CIA’s use of the discredited Steele dossier in drafting the post-2016 election Intelligence Community Assessment.
Declassified records revealed that Brennan personally approved the inclusion of the dossier’s contents over objections from senior CIA officials, contradicting his sworn denials. The referral cites evidence showing Brennan and Comey jointly decided to include the dossier in the assessment.
