Is It Too Late to Reverse Fifty Years of Indoctrination?

The public school system in America has been on a mission for decades. I used the timeframe of 50 years in today’s article title because it coincides with the Department of Education’s founding. Jimmy Carter already locked up the worst presidency in history, until Joe Biden moved into the White House, so adding the Department of Education to the Cabinet was absorbed by America, along with every other bad decision Carter made. Along with the growing power of teachers’ unions, the centralization of education under the federal government has had a devastating impact on the quality of the education our children need to compete in a global environment, leading to perpetually falling test scores. The idea of inclusion of children with physical and emotional challenges has also not worked as planned, and the introduction of immigrant children, both legal and illegal, with English as a second language, has diluted education quality.

As if the decline of basic skills in reading and math was not bad enough, our children were no longer taught the true history of America, instead concentrating on the plight of the Native Americans and the scourge of slavery. The curriculum was twisted to make America look like an evil experiment instead of the greatest country in the history of Earth. These efforts were still not enough for the Left. They had more in store for our children, whom they were charged to educate, but they preferred to indoctrinate. They needed to attack masculinity and femininity in an effort to blur the line between the two genders, which was another norm they challenged. Two genders were not enough for the Left, and they showed there were not enough letters in our alphabet to represent each gender in their fantasy world.

Sexuality and questioning the gender students were born into this world became the new playground of the Left. It was disgusting, and they needed to sever the connection parents had to their child’s education. The Department of Education embarked on a crusade to convince America that teachers were better positioned to raise children than natural parents. By the turn of the century, the educational machine owned the minds of our children from pre-kindergarten through college. The purpose of this crusade was to change our culture, as well as our politics and government. They were playing the long game to attack capitalism and our democratic republic. They were paving the way for a transition to a Socialist America, with a Democrat power base so strong that we would never see a Republican in the White House in our lifetime. That is why the Left hates Trump and will do anything to usurp his tenure because it goes contrary to their master plan.

It is too late to reverse the damage done by the Progressives, but not to stop future corruption. The dismantling of the Department of Education is a great start. You cannot dismantle the unions, but putting control of education back to the local level may allow parents to neutralize the union’s impact and restore the basics to the classroom. They also have to clean up the classrooms, especially at the elementary level, of anything to do with sexual counseling or gender selection. It will take a decade to see results for a cycle of students, but at the very least, the indoctrination has come to an end.
