Harris May Run in ’28, But She Cannot Run Away From Tim Walz
Kamala Harris lost the 2024 Presidential Election badly. Donald Trump won the election, but Kamala lost it. In a ridiculous chain of events, Harris was handed the Democratic ticket and squandered it. She may be the only Presidential candidate to run twice, be the candidate, and never receive a single primary vote. Kamala was a horrible candidate, but we should not have expected any different, for she was a terrible vice president. Her campaign lasted 107 days; she blew the entire Democratic war chest of $1.15 billion, and all she has to show for her efforts is one of the worst defeats since George McGovern, a collection of video outtakes, a book that did not sell, and the baggage of possibly the worst running mate in history. All this, and she wants to do it again.
Kamala Harris is probably believing the early polls, which usually mean little, and believes that because of her lead over Gavin Newsom, she should decide on her new design for the Oval Office. Kamala Harris should not place her order for return address labels with 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The only way she may ever get back into the big house is with a visitor pass. Claiming she is ahead in the polls is like claiming to be the best of the teams eliminated from the pennant race at the All-Star break. If Kamala Harris is even close to winning the Democratic nomination, it will prove that the Democrats have the weakest bench ever, the top candidates all pulled a Graham Platner, or Sandy Cortez is running as a Communist. Harris had one major decision to make during her campaign, and she will forever be haunted by the questions about why she chose Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
Tim Walz probably wishes he had never been thrust into the national spotlight. He was content flying under the radar as he, along with help from AG Ellison and Mayor Frey, went about their mission to destroy a once-proud state, but sucking as much fraud money as they could before being detected. None of that worked out. The whole charade was brought down by Nick Shirley, a young independent blogger, and an iPhone. Walz was forced to withdraw any plans for re-election, and if the cards are with us, all three will be exposed, investigated, and prosecuted for fraud, campaign finance violations, and whatever else JD Vance’s anti-fraud team can dig up. Not only is Walz knee-deep in fraud, but this week, he pardoned a convicted child rapist to prevent his deportation. This animal molested and raped a minor for three years. Walz said we cannot incarcerate offenders because it does not make our neighborhoods safer. You have to question what planet Walz is inhabiting, but his thinking and decision-making are suspect at best.
Harris is leading Newsom, but both Rubi and Vance are ahead of both Democratic possibilities. Harris had her moment in the sun and squandered it. Newsome is guilty of big promises and poor results. The once great state of California has become a stepping stone for states like Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. It ranks amongst the highest in cost of living and at the bottom in education. It is also the epicenter for homelessness.
Harris will have to settle for retirement or a new career field, for her days in politics are done.
