Podcast host and “Daily Beast” columnist Wajahat Ali told white Americans Friday that “brown people” were “breeding people” during a racially-charged rant in response to President Donald Trump’s call to end “third world migration.”

Ali’s rant came days after Trump vowed he would end “third world migration” to the United States in the wake of West Virginia National Guard Specialist Sarah Bergstrom and West Virginia Air National Guard Andrew Wolfe being attacked at the Farragut West Metro Station in Washington, D.C., roughly a mile from the White House. Ali claimed on his Substack during a livestream of “The Left Hook” that Trump was doomed to failure.

“You have lost, you lost,” Ali claimed. “The mistake that you made is you let us in in the first place. That’s because brown people, and I am going to say this as a brown person, there’s a lot of us, like a lot. There’s like 1.2 billion in India, there’s more than 200 million in Pakistan, there’s like 170 million in Bangladesh. Those are just the people over there.”

“I ain’t even talking about the folks were expats or immigrants,” Ali continued. “There’s a bunch of us and we breed. We’re a breeding people and the problem is you let us in in 1965.”

At another time during the rant, Ali claimed that “American culture sucks” before addressing Trump.

“I want you to realize this: You have lost,” Ali said. “Your story is a shitty story, filled with misery. It’s filled with bland chicken. It’s filled with terrible, terrible, dry-ass meat. Your music sucks. All your culture sucks. Nobody, that’s why the kids, like listen to black people and their music? That’s where the kids love that he knows your parties suck, because they are monochromatic. Our parties have better food, better music, better looking women.”

Mohammad Dawood Alokozay, who was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety after posting a TikTok video in which he claimed to be building a bomb, and Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the suspect accused of fatally shooting Beckstrom and critically wounding Wolfe, were brought into the country under Operation Allies Welcome, a Biden administration program established in the wake of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The Trump administration’s efforts to enforce immigration laws have also faced violent resistance at times. On Saturday, rioters in New York City attempted to thwart an operation by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

ICE facilities in Chicago and Portland, Oregon, have been the scene of riots as opposition to the agency’s operations targeting illegal immigrants intensified. During ICE operations in Chicago, agents were reportedly attacked by multiple assailants who used cars to ram vehicles.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a Sept. 26 post on X there had been multiple violent attacks on an ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois. In Portland, Oregon, violent protesters reportedly attacked conservative journalists covering the riots at the ICE facility and also reportedly planned to use lasers against aircraft used by federal law enforcement agencies.

Two people were killed during a Sept. 24 shooting targeting an ICE facility in the Dallas area, when a gunman, who committed suicide, opened fire at the facility. In Texas, there were at least two previous incidents when shots were fired at ICE or Border Patrol facilities in July, with ten people being charged with attempted murder and conspiracy in connection with the incident in Alvarado, Texas.
