The Supreme Court Disarms The Democrats

The directionless, leaderless Democrat Party has had only one weapon against Donald Trump, which is to tie up every effort to fulfill his promises to America in court. The Democrats do not have the numbers in the House or Senate to legislate, even if they had the desire to do so. Therefore, they have taken their cases to the courts, and in many cases, they have found activist judges willing to be complicit in efforts to legislate through the courts. Between the start of the new administration and mid-May, judges issued roughly 40 nationwide injunctions against the White House on topics including federal funding, elections rules, and diversity and equity considerations. What the Democrats have tried to do is usurp the power of the Executive Branch to perform its Constitutional-granted authority to make decisions on behalf of the people. The High Court has recognized that these overreaching district courts do not have the power to hinder or stop the President’s authority, who is attempting to fulfill the wishes of 72 million Americans who put Donald Trump in the White House. Some of the policies that the lower courts have acted on are:

  • Negate Birthright Citizenship
  • Requiring proof of citizenship to vote
  • Stop the funding of legal representation for illegal immigrants
  • End government support for programs promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Stop the funding of transgender care for minors under the age of 19
  • Implementing the cuts recommended to eliminate waste and fraud in the federal government by DOGE

It is no exaggeration to say the Supreme Court may have saved the Republic by restoring the three-branch system of government. The Democrats were rendering the Executive Branch feckless with its immediate actions in district court to stop any of Trump’s moves. This should have been a 9-0 decision, but unfortunately, it was 6-3 along ideological lines. In her summation, Justice Barrett may have had her finest moment as she went out of the way to blast the three dissenters, especially Justice Brown, whose dissent had no reference to the law or Constitution. Brown is also the person who could not define a woman during her confirmation hearings. Thanks, Joe, for her continued proof of just how useless she is, and how incompetent this woman is for the Supreme Court.

In another decision, the High Court slapped down the Democrats and the Department of Education for their insistence that all school-age children must be exposed to LGBTQ+ literature and transgender information regardless of the wishes of the parents. The Court reminded Democrats that children belong to their parents and are not community property of the DOE or teacher’s unions. These two rulings are a welcome yet overdue return to common sense.

You could tell how big and significant a blow to the Left was landed today by the way the Democrats and media were in full meltdown mode. According to them, these decisions were as existential as climate change. They all feel that the Court overstepped its bounds, and Jessica Tarlov said on The Five that Trump should not be taking a victory lap as the rulings were not that big a deal. If not, then why was her Party and media apoplectic about the rulings? If it is that devastating to the Left, then it must be cause to celebrate for the Right.
