Chick-fil-A Debuts Nationwide Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches as Part of Limited-Time Fall Menu
Atlanta, August 12, 2026 — Chick-fil-A is introducing Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches to its menus nationwide starting August 24, marking the first time the chain has offered waffles on a broad scale outside of a limited test. The sweet-and-savory items will be available in breakfast and entrée sizes to serve customers throughout the day, accompanied by two new S’mores-flavored treats.
The sandwiches feature maple-flavored waffles, a signature Chick-fil-A chicken filet, three strips of applewood-smoked bacon, and honey butter spread. They are served warm with a side of classic syrup. Customers can choose Original, Spicy, or Grilled filet options.
A smaller breakfast version will be available during standard breakfast hours (from opening until 10:30 a.m.). A larger entrée version will be offered from 10:30 a.m. until closing. The items are part of a limited-time fall lineup.
Chick-fil-A previously tested the sandwiches at participating restaurants in Baltimore, Maryland, and San Antonio, Texas, from December 1, 2025, to January 24, 2026. The positive response led to the national rollout.
“Both Chicken & Waffles and S’mores are much-loved classics, and we challenged ourselves to bring those flavors to our menu in a playful and unexpected way,” said Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A Director of Menu and Packaging. “After seeing the incredible response and excitement from Guests in our test markets, we couldn’t wait to share these flavors nationwide.”
The fall menu also includes a S’mores Milkshake (Icedream dessert blended with marshmallow-flavored syrup, chocolate shortbread, and graham cracker crumbles, topped with marshmallow-flavored whipped topping) and a S’mores Frosted Coffee (cold-brewed coffee mixed with Icedream, marshmallow-flavored syrup, and the same crumbles).
Some reports note that a plain waffle can also be ordered, and prices may start around $4.95 for the breakfast sandwich and $7.59 for the entrée, though they vary by location. The items form part of the chain’s “Newstalgia” celebrations tied to its 80th anniversary, reimagining familiar flavors with new twists. Availability is limited and expected to run into the fall.
Full details are available on Chick-fil-A’s website and at participating restaurants beginning August 24.
