Kamala Harris has been trying since the day she stole the nomination from Joe Biden to distance herself from the President. She hoped Joe would lather on the sunscreen and spend the remainder of his term playing in the sand. Harris wanted no connection to the last four years and did her best to erase or rewrite history. She tried to turn the page from the failures of the Biden/Harris era and pretend her Presidency would be a new vision after Trump. She needed Joe to become invisible and keep his lips sealed. On Friday, Joe did neither as he made a surprise appearance at the White House briefing. Was the aging President speaking without thinking, or was Biden purposely throwing Kamala under the bus? We may never know, and neither might Biden.
Joe Biden despises Kamala Harris, and those emotions were heightened during the debate in 2020 when Kamala openly called Biden a Racist and Sex-Crazed. That debate ended Kamala’s run for the nomination when she was dissected by Tulsi Gabbard. This hatred did not prevent Joe from choosing Harris as his running mate for vice president. Her purpose exceeded Joe’s hatred. When Kamala joined Schumer and Pelosi in the coup of Joe Biden, the hatred of Kamala was brought to the forefront. Yesterday was Joe’s opportunity for retribution or revenge. He took it.
Biden made a surprise appearance at the White House Briefing on Friday, and with KJP standing close enough to pull him away from the podium, Joe took a few questions from the amateur journalists. I say amateur for one reason only-they do not know how to do their job. This was the first time that Joe was inside the briefing room, and every one of the journalists should have had a headline-generating question in their back pocket. Those six called on to question Joe had empty pockets. The questions were worse than softballs and showed the dereliction of duty, that far too many journalists are guilty- they no longer know their purpose. Journalists are charged with protecting everyday Americans from unscrupulous politicians who want to use Americans. They no longer challenge or extract accountability. They appease and cover for these scum who feed on Americans. Nobody dared to challenge Biden on the lackluster FEMA support of the victims of Helene, the attacks on Israel, the Longshoreman strike, or the faltering economy that is crippling American families. They allowed Joe to skate with a public appearance with no repercussions. Joe got his time in the spotlight with the help of feckless journalists.
Joe went into depth on the support he received for four years from his Vice President Kamala Harris. He detailed how she was the deciding vote on the laws he was proud to pass during his Presidency. He ensured the American people knew that Kamala Harris was complicit in every facet of his term. Those words made the hair on the arms of the Harris team stand on end. Her worst fears came to fruition. The man she tried to distance herself from created a human bond with his dear, Kamala.
Joe may be singing, but Kamala is humming a different tune. Try as she can, Kamala cannot divorce herself for the last four years, and she has to pay for the pain she has inflicted on the American people. The tune is off-key, but so is the message of the Democrats, especially Kamala Harris. She is not about the future of Americans; the Americans are finally figuring her out.
